The Sinking of the Titanic

Sound Designer

The Sinking of the Titanic offered an exciting challenge as my first solo sound design. With a quick turn around time, it called for creative solutions. The director had an excellent vision that used the provided text as a jumping off point for a story all his own. It was up to me to create audio cues that both alluded to the original text, as well as blended in the director’s vision for the show. I ended up collecting and recording a variety of sounds that I then modified and layered for each scene. This created unique cues for each moment, that felt connected to the show as a whole. Overall, it was an incredible experience to flex and further grow my design skills.
